Wowser!

Tuesday and heading into the last few days before the tax deadline. Cleared out some more paperwork from my drawers.  Some of it went back 10 or 15 years.  Why would I track that stuff for one place to another.  It's just beyond me. I didn't need another filing cabinet I just needed to clean out the old one.  The kitchen table is really making dinner feel like dinner and instead of vegging for the rest of the night.  I cleaned out my filing cabinet.  Good stuff!
Today is my last Shaun T workout and Thursday I start with the Brazil Butt workout.  Good Luck and Good Night.

Sunday!

The only thing good about my workout was I tried something new.  It was ehh okay!  Today I meet friends for coffee in Sherman Oaks at the spa.  Get the rest of my bills paid. Eat healthy and prepare for tomorrow.

It's the Weekend!

Slept in late till 8am!  Best rest in awhile.  Re-organized my artwork to make it easy to
get to and accomplish my latest project.  Charcoal Drawings.  Sprouted Grain toast and poached eggs for breakfast. Cappuccino as usual.  Starting my day with Jimmy Buffet and Shaun T.  Booty Time best workout.  Buffet radio perfect to start a Saturday morning.  Time to let go, move on and enjoy the day.  It is cool and sunny.  Enjoy it while I can before the
heat of summer hits.  Today is the day! Love and Adventure!!!

It's Friday!!!

I don't know why I''m so excited.  I took Wednesday and Thursday off.  Today  I go back to my day job. Oh yeah, but then I have two days off.  Okay!!! Happy, Happy Happy!!! I love my new kitchen table.  It makes it easier to ice my sprained ankle.  Do you know it can take 6 weeks for a sprained ankle to heal?  I actually heard a doctor say "It would have been better to break it"  For who, you? I don't think so. The thought of breaking it just makes me nauseous and think ouch!!! I can still exercise on a sprained ankle so I'm thinking I will just let it heal itself eventually.  Enough on that note!  Off to work out.

Shed Your Stuff, Change Your Life

I've started reading this book by Julie Morgenstern.  It is basically a clearing of clutter.  Clutter of time and space.  I have moved my clothes from the standing wardrobe, where ever time I take a shirt out I have to re-fold a whole shelf of clothes to the dresser drawers.  I can now reach for a shirt and leave all the other shirts organized.  Time saved, a few hours a week.  Hmmm what to do with that time.  This is my day today.  Reading, learning and implementing what I am learning.

There are those morning when I too do not want to get up.

Today was one of those days when I wanted to crawl right back into bed for no reason whatsoever.  I slept through the night.  I just wanted to sleep more and ignore the flashing of the alarm clock.  I went back to sleep and got up about 15 minutes later than my usual. A good cup of espresso made the old fashioned way and it time for a quick workout and then off to my day job. I am taking a mini vacation this week, Wednesday and Thursday. No chores.  Okay maybe a bit of food shopping and then off to the beach.  I hope the sun is shining and it doesn't rain all that much.  Either way I will wander about with not much to do.  Maybe read a bit and people watch.  As much as I want to accomplish stuff, I realize that sometimes you just need to do nothing. Give yourself permission to do nothing, have no plans and accomplish nothing. The pleasure of nothingness.

I love Mondays!

I love Mondays because they are full of promises.  It is the beginning of a new week.  I make my lists of all I want to accomplish.  Sometimes in my head.  Sometimes I commit them to paper.  There are all these questions on Monday.  Will it be sunny?  Will it be warm? Who will I meet this week?  Will I meet someone new?  Will I run into an old friend?  All the possibilities are here on a Monday.  It is a forward looking day.  This week my main goal is to get some writing and drawing done.  The second goal for the week besides paying my month end bills it is to step up my workout.  For Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I will be doing The P90 Fat Burning Hawaii Workout.  It is a 50 minutes high intensity workout.  On Mon, Wed, and Friday I will still do my 20 minute workouts and get to my breakfast meeting on time or late.  It doesn't matter as long as I make it to the meeting 7:30am.  Conversation with a group of like minded health fanatics.  I just love Mondays!!
